Jaxon Smith-Njigba injury: Ryan Day provides update on star WR ahead of Peach Bowl

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has missed a considerable amount of time for the Ohio State Buckeyes recently.
He and Marvin Harrison Jr. are probably the nation’s top WR tandem when fully healthy, and having a team’s No. 2 DB on one of them would be a major boon moving forward if Championship dreams are to be fulfilled. First, the Buckeyes have to get him on the field.
Ryan Day addressed Smith-Njigba’s status ahead of the Peach Bowl against No. 1 Georgia.
“We’ll probably have more of an update over the next couple of days on exactly where that’s at,” Day said Sunday.
It’s not much, but it’s not a definite “no” either. The Peach Bowl is nearly a month away, the Buckeyes have plenty of time to get healthy, prepare and get their minds right before their biggest game of the season.
