Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored the most important touchdown of the game for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday versus the Cleveland Browns.
Smith-Njigba may not have led his team in receiving yards, but his efforts will still be recognized regardless because of the overall significance.
Seattle was driving and needed a touchdown to put the pressure back on the Cleveland offense. Smith-Njigba caught a pass from Geno Smith with under a minute to go in the game.
Thanks to a key block from D.K. Metcalf, Smith-Njigba sprinted into the endzone.

The Ohio State product had 173 yards receiving and 1 touchdown before Sunday. The second touchdown of his career was a big one and led to the 24-20 win. A few plays after the score, the Browns’ offense turned the ball over on downs.
The first-round draft pick is proving his worth. The Seahawks took Smith-Njigba with the 20th-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.
