Jaxon Smith-Njigba and TreVeyon Henderson got their statuses updated for Week 10.

Neither of the star players will be able to suit up for the Buckeyes against Northwestern, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.

Smith-Njigba is still dealing with a hamstring issue while Henderson has a foot injury.

Smith-Njigba was considered one of the best WR in the nation before the 2022 season. Unfortunately, the star WR has only been able to suit up in 3 games. In 2021, Smith-Njigba was 2nd in the nation in receiving yards in 2021, finishing with 1606.

Henderson leads the Buckeyes in rushing in 2022 with 552 yards. In Henderson’s absence, Miyan Williams is expected to take over in Week 10. Williams has 525 yards and 10 TDs on the season, splitting carries with Henderson.

The Buckeyes are seeking to remain perfect in Week 10 against the 1-7 Northwestern Wildcats.
