Jayden Reed sets up Michigan State TD with ridiculous contested grab vs. Rutgers

Jayden Reed and Michigan State are squaring off against Rutgers in Week 11. The Scarlet Knights have left Reed in one-on-one coverage a couple of times, and Reed made Rutgers pay on this play.
Streaking down the left sideline in man-to-man coverage, Payton Thorne put a throw up for his receiver. The defender was in a good position but could not locate the ball.
Reed went up and over with a catch over his defender’s head for the huge gain for the Spartans:

That catch came up big for Michigan State. At the time of the grab, Rutgers and Michigan State were tied 7-all. The Spartans would go down to punch in a short TD run by Jalen Berger to make it 14-7 MSU late in the first half.
