Jayvan Boggs, 2025 WR out of Florida, announces B1G commitment

Jayvan Boggs has found a home in the Big Ten. The sought-after wide receiver from Florida has committed to play for Ohio State.

Boggs took to social media Monday morning to share the big news.

A Cocoa standout, Boggs is listed as measuring 6-feet and 188 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Boggs is rated 3-stars, the No. 50 wide receiver, No. 55 player in the state of Florida and No. 368 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

Boggs has picked up scholarship offers from OSU and 17 other schools, including Colorado, Florida, Louisville, Ole Miss and Penn State. Ohio State entered the mix on June 15 and hosted him for a visit in Columbus later that month.

While Boggs isn’t a blue-chip prospect yet, Buckeye fans have plenty of reasons to trust Brian Hartline on the recruiting trail. Boggs’ sophomore highlights offer a preview of what he’s bringing to Columbus:
