"They've got to make plays for us and be some of our difference-makers in order for us to win."

Charlie Jones brings some experience to West Lafayette. The listed sixth-year receiver caught 39 balls for 718 yards and 6 touchdowns at Iowa and another stop at Buffalo in 2018.
Jones was also a return specialist at Iowa, earning First-team All-Big Ten honors by league coaches and media. On kickoff, Jones had 635 yards (25.4 avg) and 1 touchdown on 25 returns.
Tyrone Tracy is listed as a redshirt senior out of Indianapolis. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound wideout had 15 receptions for 106 yards and 1 touchdown in 2021 with the Hawkeyes. His best season with Iowa came in 2019 when he had 36 receptions for 589 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Will Jones and Tracy make an impact against Penn State? Brohm and Purdue fans are certainly hoping so. It would be a huge win if the Boilermakers can knock off the Nittany Lions in their home opener.
