It was easily the most thrilling win Purdue has experienced in years. A 49-20 blowout win over No. 2 Ohio State is something nobody could’ve predicted.
Sure, the Boilermakers were given a chance to beat Ohio State this week, but a lopsided final score was never really mentioned. But after an explosive offensive performance from running back D.J. Knox and receiver Rondale Moore, the Buckeyes had absolutely no answer.
Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm had a huge smile on his face after the game, securing the most significant win of his coaching career.
Here’s what the Purdue head coach had to say after the huge victory:
#Purdue’s Jeff Brohm: “I think it shows how far our team has come. We worked hard for this victory and we deserved to win this game.”

#purdue’s Jeff Brohm: “It is a huge moment.”
“This is a player-led team. Our players have stepped forward and kept our team together.”

Brohm: This is a huge moment. It’s not like we won by one point. We played football

Jeff Brohm: “They surpassed my expectations the way they played today."

#Purdue’s Jeff Brohm said defense grew up so fast because of “special coaches who want to win.” Passion of coaches carrying over to players.
