It was easily the most thrilling win Purdue has experienced in years. A 49-20 blowout win over No. 2 Ohio State is something nobody could’ve predicted.
Sure, the Boilermakers were given a chance to beat Ohio State this week, but a lopsided final score was never really mentioned. But after an explosive offensive performance from running back D.J. Knox and receiver Rondale Moore, the Buckeyes had absolutely no answer.
Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm had a huge smile on his face after the game, securing the most significant win of his coaching career.
