Heading into this weekend’s game with Minnesota, the mounting number of injuries Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm has to deal with will be an issue. Brohm gave an update today, indicating wide receiver David Bell, running back King Doerue and defensive lineman Branson Deen will all be game time decisions. Tight end Payne Durham is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game.
Brohm also indicated that there will be a gametime announcement of the starting quarterback against the Gophers, but that the starter has been working with the No. 1 offense during the week.

Bell missed last week’s game with Illinois and Doerue didn’t dress with an undisclosed illness, but both Durham and Deen went down during the 13-9 Boilermakers victory over the Illini.
Purdue will host Minnesota on Saturday, Oct. 2 with an 11:00 AM scheduled kickoff.
