Jeff Brohm had an update on how Purdue TE Garrett Miller is doing. It was reported that Miller suffered a season-ending knee injury in fall camp, and will miss the entire 2022 season.
Brohm revealed that Miller had surgery to repair the injury. Miller was supposed to be a part of the TE duo that involved himself and Payne Durham. Last season, he caught 19 passes for 165 yards receiving after appearing in 11 games with 4 starts.
Mike Carmin of Journal & Courier reported the news.

It will be interesting to see how Brohm decides to use his TEs now that Miller may be gone for the season. Perhaps another TE will fit into the No. 2 spot behind Durham. The Boilermakers have 5 other TEs than just Durham and Miller on their roster.
Aidan O’Connell will now have to look to another TE to throw to other than Durham. Purdue football opens the season with a home game against Penn State on Sept. 1.
