After Saturday night’s 23-13 loss to the Northwestern Wildcats, the Purdue Boilermakers fell to 4-6 on the season. And with two games left, the Boilermakers need to win out to make a bowl game.
Head coach Jeff Brohm sent a warning and direct to his players after Purdue’s loss to Northwestern because this was his team’s fifth setback in six games.
“If you don’t want to fight, you can turn your pads in,” safety Navon Mosley said of Brohm’s locker room speech after the game. “I know my guys. I know my team. Everybody on this roster is fighting for their life right now.”
The Boilermakers had a two-point setback against Rutgers three weeks ago and a one-point loss to Nebraska two weeks ago.
Purdue’s last two games are against the Iowa Hawkeyes on the road and the Indiana Hoosiers at home.
