What does it mean for somebody to be “salty?”

Typically, at least nowadays, it means that person isn’t in a good mood. Maybe they’re angry or upset.

Jeff Brohm wasn’t talking about that type of saltiness when he mentioned being “salty” when talking about his team on Monday:

If Brohm’s team can do that, then the Boilermakers can have success not just against Nevada on Friday, Aug. 30 on the road, but going forward throughout this entire season.
