Jeremiah Beasley, a 4-star linebacker from Belleville, Michigan, is delaying his commitment date.

Beasley is a major target for Michigan State. He was previously expected to announce his commitment on March 15. However, he will now do so on June 29.

Here’s that announcement:

In addition to Michigan State, Beasley is also still considering Kentucky, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Tennessee.

However, Michigan State is currently considered to be the favorite to land Beasley’s commitment. According to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball, 4 analysts have projected the Spartans to win this recruitment.

Beasley would be a major addition for Michigan State’s 2024 recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 253 overall player and the No. 20 linebacker in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 6 player from the state of Michigan.

Michigan State is off to a strong start in the class of 2024. Mel Tucker and his staff have already landed commitments from a trio of 4-star prospects. The group currently ranks No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
