Avert your eyes, Michigan fans.
Ohio State is set to return its 2 best receivers on Saturday, Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate. Both OSU receivers have been dealing with lower body injuries that forced each to miss last week’s matchup against Rutgers. Tate has been out since Ohio State’s win over Penn State in early November.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported the news Saturday morning.
Michigan has been a thorn in Ryan Day’s side ever since he arrived in Columbus. The Wolverines have won 4 straight, and it’s getting to the point where College GameDay was able to pose the following as a legitimate question to Ohio State fans: Would you rather win the national title (again) or beat Michigan?
The Buckeyes certainly seem to be on track to do both, if we’re honest. Especially with their 2 top receivers back. Smith is considered by many to be the best wide receiver in the country. He’s totaled 69 receptions for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns, while Tate has collected 39 receptions for 711 yards and 7 touchdowns across just 8 games.
The Game is set to kick off at Noon eastern from the Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Can Ohio State finally snap the streak?
