Jeremiah Smith is already a national champion and a record-setting wide receiver, rewriting multiple freshman marks in 2024 at Ohio State. Now, he’s landing a prime rating in EA’s upcoming College Football 26 video game.

On Tuesday, EA Sports dropped a “deep dive” into various aspects of the upcoming video game, which is set for a July 10 release. That article included features such as dynasty and team builder that will be featured in the upcoming game.

Within that article, a screenshot of Smith and his overall rating featured a 99. Take a look:

For clarity’s sake, that screenshot alone does not guarantee Smith will be a firm 99 when the game releases. The above screenshot could be with in-game enhancements, but it would not be a surprise if Smith is a true 99 to start the season.

If Smith is a 99 overall, it would be a significant moment for the player and the game. When the popular video game returned with College Football 25, Michigan’s Will Johnson was the top player rating at 96 overall entering the season. (Ratings can fluctuate as the season progresses.)

Smith already has cover honors for the popular game, splitting those honors with Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams. Both players delivered impressive true freshman campaigns and will be among the top playmakers in all of college football.

As for Smith, he’s also among the best odds to win the Heisman Trophy this fall. DraftKings has the standout for Ryan Day listed at +1200, trailing only 3 quarterbacks in those odds. Fans can grab the DraftKings Ohio promo code to get into the action.
