Jerry Kill is retiring as offensive coordinator at Rutgers due to health concerns, according to reports.
Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com reported on Tuesday that Kill decided to retire from football again, strictly because of health concerns. Dunleavy also reported that both Kill and head coach Chris Ash were hopeful that there would be no change, but the concerns were too much to overcome.
Kill retired from coaching midway through the 2015 season when he was the head coach at Minnesota.

Kill’s decision comes on the eve of the early signing period, which begins on Wednesday, Dec. 20. He was with the program for just one season. Kill suffers from epilepsy and had a minor seizure early in the season.
He had been debating about a return since last week.
Rutgers is now searching for its ninth offensive coordinator in nine years with Kill on the way out. Dunleavy reported that a national search for a replacement is already underway.
