Jevonnie Scott, a JUCO transfer who appeared in 11 games last season for Penn State, has reportedly made a decision about his future with the Nittany Lions.
Daniel Gallen of Lions247 reported that Scott will not return to the team next season, something that was confirmed by a team spokesperson.
Scott averaged 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per game last season. Here’s a breakdown of his production:
Rutgers (1/11): Made Penn State debut, finishing with two points and a rebound in just under five minutes of playing time. At #16 Ohio State (1/16): Tallied four points and two rebounds in a productive seven minutes of action. At Iowa (1/22): Had three points and three rebounds. At Minnesota (2/12): Tallied two points and two rebounds. Minnesota (2/17): Finished with two points and three rebounds in dominant victory. Northwestern (2/25): Pulled down three rebounds in four minutes of action.
Scott, a 6-foot-7 forward, about a year ago came to Penn State from South Plains College in Texas. Scott was previously committed to Texas A&M but re-opened his recruitment following some changes to the staff.
Scott is a player to watch to see where he lands from here.
