Ji’Ayir Brown was one of the players who spoke at Penn State’s Rose Bowl press conference on Friday. One of the topics he mentioned was if he plans to play in the Rose Bowl against Utah.
Brown played in all 12 games for Penn State in the regular season recording 66 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 3 interceptions. Brown is planning on playing in the Rose Bowl, which is great news for the Penn State defense.
Brown further explained what the past few years with Penn State have been like.
“I love these guys. There’s guys who have put their blood, sweat, and tears into this program. Definitely want them to go out the right way. Just to end that on the best note possible. That’s been my biggest pro. My biggest con is the injuries as as far as all that stuff that can happen.”

James Franklin has had very few players opt out of bowl games in the past and it looks like that trend is going to continue. Brown will be playing with his teammates in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 2 at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN.
