An interesting moment on the Michigan sideline on Saturday in which Jim Harbaugh and kicker Quinn Nordin appeared to have a heated exchange, has been cleared up.
During Michigan’s game against Maryland this past weekend, Harbaugh and Nordin appeared to trade words on the sideline after the kicker missed a field goal. A piece of the exchange was captured by Big Ten Network:

It wasn’t a long-lasting argument, but it was enough to get people talking on the social media sites.
After the game, Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News asked the head coach about the heated encounter and, in true Harbaugh fashion, he denied that it was really that big of a deal.
“I said to him, ‘I’m giving you one more shot. You’ve got to make the next one.’ And he said, ‘I got this. I will make the next one,'” Harbaugh said. “You call that a heated exchange, then so be it, but it wasn’t.”

Nordin started the season as one of the B1G’s hottest kickers, making 14-of-16 attempts in the first six games. But he hasn’t made a field goal in the last three games, going 0-for-3 during that stretch.
As the game played out, Nordin didn’t get another chance against Maryland. Nordin’s next chance — maybe his last — could potentially come this Saturday in Madison as the Wolverines play Wisconsin.
