Jim Harbaugh compares incoming 4-star OL to former Wolverine Michael Onwenu

Raheem Anderson has some pretty high praise with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh likening the four-star offensive lineman to a former Wolverine currently in the NFL.
Anderson, who signed with Michigan on Wednesday at the start of the Early Signing Period, drew rave reviews from Harbaugh who compared his newest offensive lineman to Michael Onwenu. In Onwenu, Michigan had a multi-year starter who was twice an All-Big Ten selection.

Onwenu was a sixth round pick of the New England Patriots in April’s NFL Draft. He has already made 11 starts despite being a rookie.
No pressure, kid. But Anderson has the goods and is one of the best interior offensive linemen in this recruiting class.

A 6-foot-3, 298 lbs. offensive lineman, Anderson was a four-star recruit with offers from Georgia, Iowa State, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss and Purdue among others.
247Sports ranked him as the No. 210 player in the class and the third-best offensive center. Michigan’s recruiting class is currently ninth in the nation according to 247Sports.
