No. 14 Michigan has started the 2021 season with a 5-0 overall record. They are a team that is getting better each week, as strangely described by head coach Jim Harbaugh after their 38-17 road win over Wisconsin on Saturday.
"It's almost like some of those X-Men movies."

During his press conference, Harbaugh compared the continuing development of his Wolverines compared to the young heroes in the X-Men movies by saying, “it’s like some of those X-Men movies where the teenage X-Men found their power, now they know they have it. It’s really exciting to watch as a coach.”
When Wisconsin suppressed Michigan’s rushing game, they opened their availability to be more explosive in the passing game. Michigan accounted for 253 passing yards and three touchdowns against the efficient defense of Wisconsin.
The defense for Michigan is becoming more aggressive as they accounted for seven tackles for loss and six sacks against the offense of Wisconsin. Harbaugh complimented his team’s ability to get better and develop each week as they are finding themselves on the field like the X-Men heroes, as he mentioned. It might have been better if he had mentioned how aggressive they are becoming on the field, like X-Men’s Wolverine.
