Jim Harbaugh complimentary of Ryan Day, Ohio State’s success this season

Michigan and Ohio State may not like each other very much, but that doesn’t mean the head coaches in the rivalry game are always at each other’s throats. And this week, Jim Harbaugh is pretty complimentary of his team’s arch rival.
Harbaugh met with the media on Monday to talk about the upcoming rivalry contest against Ohio State. The fifth-year Michigan head coach is still searching for his first win in The Game, hoping to get it this weekend. But he knows just how tough getting a win over the 11-0 Buckeyes will be this Saturday.
When asked about Ohio State’s success this season, Harbaugh was very complimentary of Ohio State.
“Ryan Day and his staff have done an outstanding job developing this team,” Harbaugh said.
“They are one of the best offenses in the country. One of the best defenses in the country”
Ranked No. 2 in the country, Ohio State has been considered the most complete team in college football because of its dominant defense and explosive offense. That offense, by the way, is the highest-scoring in college football, averaging 49.4 points per game.
A big reason for that has been the play of quarterback Justin Fields. Harbaugh also had plenty of praise for the OSU gunslinger.
“Justin Fields has had a tremendous year, playing winning football at all times,” Harbaugh said. “Extremely athletic, runs the ball well.”
Michigan will be searching for its first win in the rivalry since 2011. Harbaugh knows it won’t come easy.
