Jim Harbaugh had praise for his team as the Wolverines routed Purdue 43-22 in the B1G Championship on Saturday.
With the decisive win on Saturday, Michigan seemingly cemented its appearance in the College Football Playoff. Headed into the B1G Championship, the No. 2 Wolverines ended the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record after defeating Ohio State for the second time in two years.
On Saturday, the Wolverines handily took down the Boilermakers, despite missing RB Blake Corum, who suffered a season-ending knee injury and had surgery last week. In Corum’s absence, sophomore Donovan Edwards stepped up and shined in the spotlight for Michigan.
The RB grabbed 185 yards on 25 carries and 1 TD while averaging 7.4 yards, the most of any RB. After the game, Harbaugh had nothing but praise for the RB.
Jim Harbaugh turns to #Michigan RB Donovan Edwards: "This guy's got 401 yards in the last two games. This guy comes alive in the big games. … He takes off to another level."

The longtime coach stopped short of giving himself credit, saying “We made it about the guys on the team.” The coach also denied that he has changed anything in the Wolverine’s past two stellar seasons.
Harbaugh on the last two seasons at Michigan: "I don't think I've changed one bit. I'm the same as I was before. The players really appreciated that as well, that there was no change. We made it about the guys on the team."
