Jim Harbaugh gets roasted in coaching return as Michigan struggles vs. Rutgers

Jim Harbaugh is back on the sidelines for Michigan as the Wolverines face Rutgers in Week 4. Despite Harbaugh getting back into action, Michigan is not exactly looking like the No. 2 team in the country against the Scarlet Knights.

Fortunately, JJ McCarthy was able to hit Semaj Morgan for a touchdown late in the first half to give Michigan a 14-7 lead heading into halftime. That’s a start but fans will want to see things start clicking at a more efficient clip in the second half.

The Wolverines still have plenty of time to snap out of their slow start and get things rolling, but this is far from what Harbaugh and the rest of his coaching staff wanted to see. It’s also a far cry from what many fans were hoping — or expecting — to see from the head coach during his first game back.
