Jim Harbaugh is showcasing a little gamesmanship when it comes to the availability of several key players. Leading up to the top 3 matchup against heated rival Ohio State, Harbaugh hasn’t released any official information on the status of Blake Corum, Luke Schoonmaker or Donovan Edwards.
All three players are key offensive pieces for Michigan.

Corum, the Heisman contending RB, left Saturday’s game against Illinois with a knee injury. Corum hinted that he will be back on Sunday but there was no official timeline on when that would be.
Corum has had an outstanding year so far with 1,457 yards on 245 attempts with an average of 5.9 yards per attempt. A lot of the Wolverine’s offensive success is predicated on Corum’s ability to establish the run and his presence impacts what the team will be able to do.
Donovan Edwards is another talented running back who was not able to play against the Fighting Illini this last weekend. Edwards has scored 4 touchdowns and rushed for 471 yards on 70 attempts for 6.7 yards per carry.
Talented tight end, Luke Schoonmaker, is another offensive weapon that the Wolverines are hoping to get back for this weekend. He’s had a productive year so far and has made plays not only on offense but also with special teams.
Harbaugh is unlikely to reveal the status of any of these impact players before the Game and will likely keep any information concerning them limited this week.
