Jim Harbaugh previews importance of rivalry matchup with Spartans: ‘Everyone wants it so bad’

Jim Harbaugh previewed the upcoming matchup with Michigan State in a recent interview. Harbaugh emphasized how special this game is to the program with 247Sports’ Alejandro Zuniga.
Michigan has not beaten Michigan State since 2019. Harbaugh understands how frustrating that can be for the program and Michigan fans alike.
“Our guys really want to win this. I’m not gonna lie to you: I really want to win it,” Harbaugh said. “I think everybody wants it so bad. Everybody wants to win: players, coaches, fan bases. Yeah, it’s at about as high a level as it can be.”
The last two games in the series have come down to the wire. Fans could see another close game in this year’s game.
There’s just one thing that is keeping Harbaugh motivated with the game coming up. Beating Michigan State.
“Just really wanting to win this game,” said Harbaugh. “It’s enough.”
