Michigan football is synonymous with elite talent. But, have you ever wondered what the facilities look like for the team? It’s quite similar to an NFL team.

WXYZ’s sports director, Brad Galli, interviewed Jim Harbaugh to get a more inside look at the football program’s facilities.

Harbaugh took Galli on a tour around the cutting-edge facilities, drawing attention to the Jordan-branded shoe wall, a more close-up view of the weight room, and other elements that drive the strength and conditioning for the Wolverines.

Check out the facilities below:

Michigan football has been sporting the Jumpman logo since 2016 and were the first college football team to do so. The Michigan X Nike deal started in August 2016, with a hefty amount from Nike for Michigan to wear its brand.

If this doesn’t help with recruiting and retention for the Wolverines, what will?

So, student-athletes in Michigan’s football program are surrounded by “a $168 million, 280,000-square-foot South campus Performance Center, a $14.8 million upgrade to the Football Performance Center inside Schembechler Hall and a $21 million, 32,000 square-foot weight room,” per Christopher Breiler, Fan Nation writer.
