Jim Harbaugh knows that his team is probably going to be dealing with some nerves leading up to their College Football Playoff game with TCU. Michigan is hoping to not have a repeat of how things went last season.
Michigan was embarrassed by Georgia last season in the semifinal game. The Bulldogs beat the Wolverines 34-11 at Hard Rock Stadium in 2021.
Harbaugh stated at Friday’s presser that he wants his team to seek contact early on against TCU and noted that the butterflies are always going to be there before a game like this.
“Don’t worry. Those butterflies are there. They were there every game I ever played. I think every football player has them, until you get that first hit. Seek contact early then play as hard as you can, as fast as you can, as long as you can.”
