Nothing went well for Michigan during Saturday’s road trip to Madison. You name it, it went wrong for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines.

Wisconsin had no trouble with Michigan, posting a 35-14 win over the Wolverines in the B1G opener. It was a stunning result, considering how evenly matched the two teams were expected to be heading into the matchup. And, really, the 21-point spread makes it look competitive when it wasn’t.

The Badgers built a 35-0 lead in the second half, surrendering two late touchdowns in the game. Those were the first points Wisconsin had surrendered all season long.

After the game, Harbaugh had some brutally honest comments on the loss. He was even pretty critical of himself following such an ugly display.

“Things they did really well, we were unable to do,” Harbaugh said. “In terms of establishing a running game, having the play-action come off of that. They blocked better, they tackled better, they had a better plan and executed extremely well today.

“We were outplayed.”

Below is the video, as posted by Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News. Michigan drops to 2-1 this season and is 0-1 in B1G play.
