Jim Harbaugh spoke to the media about the status of 3 of his players. Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News posted his comments on Twitter.
Michigan was without OL Ryan Hayes and LB Nikhai Hill-Green for the season opener. Hayes missed the opener with an undisclosed injury, but Harbaugh expects him to be back. Hill-Green is dealing with a soft-tissue injury and more about his status will come out closer to game time.

There was also an injury to Hayes’ replacement, Karsen Barnhart. Barnhart filled in at tackle for Hayes on Saturday, and suffered a sprained ankle. Harbaugh said that he will likely not be available for the Hawaii game.

The Wolverines will be fortunate to have the leadership of Hayes back on the offensive line. However, Hill-Green and Barnhart provide depth at their positions and will be missed the longer they are out.
Michigan plays Hawaii on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on BTN.
