JJ Watt is playing one of his best games not only as a member of the Arizona Cardinals but also in the past 4 seasons of his career.

Through the first half of play in the Week 15 road game vs. the Denver Broncos, Watt has accounted for 3 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. Since the beginning of the 2019 season, the former Wisconsin Badgers defensive end has accounted for 4 games where he accumulated at least 2 sacks.

In the first 5 seasons of his professional career, Watt played in all 16 games of the season. Since then, his career has been limited significantly due to injuries.

From 2016 to this season, Watt has only 3 seasons where he has played more than 8 games in a season. Watt entered Week 15 playing in 13 games for the Cardinals, the healthiest he has been since joining the team in 2021.

Going into Week 15, Watt has accumulated 22 total tackles, 17 solo tackles, 6.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 5 pass breakups in 2022. We’ll see how he finishes out this season with the Arizona defense.
