University of Louisville officials are reportedly discussing the future of head men’s basketball coach Chris Mack. Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde reported on the situation on Tuesday.

According to Forde, nothing has been finalized regarding Mack’s status with the program. However, there is a Trustees and Athletics board meeting scheduled for Wednesday and the head coach’s radio show was canceled on Tuesday night.

Forde also reports that there’s work being done on a potential separation agreement between Mack and Louisville.

This is Mack’s fourth season at Louisville. The Cardinals are currently 11-9 on the season and sit 5-5 in ACC play. They’ve lost their last two games, falling to Florida State on the road and to NC State at home.

Louisville is 68-37 during his time with the program. Prior to taking over the Cardinals, Mack was the head coach at Xavier for 9 seasons. He was 215-97 and led the Musketeers to the NCAA Tournament every year.
