Joe Burrow is at it again with an absolutely insane performance in the Peach Bowl National Semifinal.
Entering Saturday’s College Football Playoff, the Tigers were already expected to be two-score favorites over Oklahoma. However, no one could have predicted the first half that awaited Burrow and LSU.
Through the first 30 minutes of action, Burrow threw for over 400 yards and seven total touchdowns to stake his team to a 49-14 halftime lead. His favorite receiver, Justin Jefferson, also set CFP records in the first half with over 180 yards receiving and four scores.

In the second half, Burrow added to his total and scored once again for LSU. This time, he punched in a short rushing touchdown for his eighth score of the game.
Touchdown No. 8 now gives Burrow the FBS record for touchdowns in a bowl game:

Midway through the third quarter, Burrow has thrown for 455 yards with eight total touchdowns. What a game for the Heisman Trophy winner.
