Joe Evans made a play on defense following Ohio State’s first drive after the Spencer Petras interception. He blew up C.J. Stroud and found the end zone on a scoop and score.
Evans plays DE for Iowa and for some reason he was almost unblocked on the play. Iowa won’t care as it resulted in six points on a defensive touchdown. Evans came into the game with 6 solo tackles and 2 sacks.

Iowa is now up 10-0 in Columbus as Ohio State fans might be having some flashbacks to the game in 2017. That game was played in Iowa City and the Hawkeyes dominated the Buckeyes in a 55-24 upset win.
Ohio State will need to respond quickly, because now the Iowa defense is playing with a lead away from home. We’ll see if Iowa can keep pressuring the Ohio State offense.
