Week 2 of college football is in the books, and Sunday mornings are saved for NFL, your fantasy lineup and, of course, college football analysts rankings.

Joel Klatt, the FOX analyst, has come out with his new Top 10 rankings after an eventful Saturday around the college football landscape.

Here is Klatt’s Top 10:

  1. Alabama
  2. Georgia
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Oregon
  5. Clemson
  6. Cincinnati
  7. Iowa
  8. Ohio State
  9. Penn State
  10. Texas A and M

Three B1G teams have made Klatt’s Top 10 after week 2; the highest-ranked is the Iowa Hawkeyes at No.7; they are arguably  the best team in the B1G right now.

The Hawkeyes in week 1 beat the No.17 Indiana Hoosiers 34-6, and then they go on the road and, as an underdog, beat rival Iowa State 27-17, who was ranked No.9 in the country. Iowa has won the CyHawk trophy 6 times in a row.

The next ranked B1G team is the Ohio State Buckeyes. They come in at No.8 and did not look  good in their home loss to the No.11 Oregon Ducks at home. The Buckeyes lost 35-28.

The last-ranked team in Klatt’s top 10 is the Penn State Nittany Lions, who won their game against the Ball State Cardinals in dominant fashion 44-13.

The Wisconsin Badgers are just outside of Klatt’s top 10, who won their game against Eastern Michigan 34-7.

The B1G so far this season does not look like it’s Ohio State, and everyone else there is quite a few teams as of right now who could see themselves raising the trophy in Indy.
