Joel Klatt releases updated top 10 following Week 5 action

Joel Klatt revealed his updated top 10 teams in college football following Week 5. His rankings went up Sunday night following the final college football games that were moved due to Hurricane Ian.
Three B1G teams cracked Klatt’s list: Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. It never was going to be anyone else.
Ohio State is Klatt’s No. 1 team.

The Buckeyes being the No. 1 team is the only real shock here as far as the B1G is concerned. Alabama looked strong against Arkansas, though Georgia struggled for the second week in a row to an inferior opponent.
Kansas football made an appearance in Klatt’s ‘Almost’ section. The Jayhawks are off to an unlikely start at 5-0 heading into the bulk of their Big 12 schedule.
