Joel Klatt made some interesting moves to his latest top 10, one week after moving Michigan to the No. 1 overall spot on his list.

To open the month of October, Klatt put Michigan on the top of his list followed by Texas, Georgia and Ohio State. Texas understandably dropped on Klatt’s new rankings coming out of Week 6 after a loss to Oklahoma, but Michigan, Georgia and Ohio State all won in convincing fashion.

Despite the results in Week 6, Klatt dropped Michigan from the top spot and replaced the Wolverines with Georgia. The Bulldogs did have a convincing win over Kentucky, but Michigan did drop 50 points on Minnesota while the Wolverine defense outscored the Gophers in the blowout.

Klatt’s drop of the Buckeyes is arguably even more confusing. Ohio State beat Maryland by 20 but was dropped from No. 4 to No. 6 behind FSU, Oklahoma and Penn State. Most notably, Penn State did not even play this week with the Buckeyes dropped behind James Franklin’s program.

Regardless of where Klatt has Michigan and Ohio State, the two teams remain the betting favorites to win the conference title in the Big Ten Championship odds. Fans looking to get in on the action can use Tradition’s unique Caesars Ohio promo code or FanDuel Michigan promo code to get started!

At the end of the day, if Michigan and Ohio State continue to win, the rest will take care of itself. Penn State will also factor heavily in the B1G East race, and Maryland showed Saturday the Terps are not going to be a pushover this fall.
