Appearing on BTN to discuss the importance – or lack thereof – of preseason rankings, CFB on FOX analyst Joel Klatt made a case for the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions being underrated.
Here is the link to Klatt’s full comments, courtesy of BTN:
Based on performance so far, @joelklatt considers @OhioStateFB the top team in the country and says "there's a good chance" @PennStateFball is in the Top 5.

Off to a 5-0 start, Penn State routed Purdue, 35-7, on October 5. Racking up ten sacks in the win over the Boilermakers, one shy of the school record, Brent Pry’s defense is allowing just 7.4 points per game.
A more difficult challenge, the Nittany Lions travel to Iowa City to face No. 17 Iowa (4-1) on Saturday (7:30 PM ET, ABC).

Also making the case for the Ohio State Buckeyes to be the country’s No. 1 team, the Buckeyes are idle on Saturday. 6-0 and tied for No. 3 with Georgia in the latest AP Poll, Ohio State is averaging 49.3 points and 534.5 yards per game.
The Buckeyes will return to action on Friday, October 18 vs. Northwestern (1-4) in Evanston.
