Joel Klatt unveils his updated Top 10 following Week 6

Joel Klatt has a new No. 1 team in his personal top 10 after Week 6 of the college football season.

The FOX Sports college football analyst placed Texas atop his rankings on Sunday. The Longhorns had an open week, but they jumped up to the top spot as Alabama suffered an upset loss at Vanderbilt. That said, the Crimson Tide remained in Klatt’s rankings, but at No. 6.

As far as the rest of Klatt’s top 5, Ohio State jumped to No. 3 after its win over Iowa. Georgia, No. 5 after week 5, moved two spots up to No. 3 following a victory over Auburn. Oregon, No. 7 in Klatt’s previous rankings, moved up to No. 4 after beating Michigan State on Friday night. At No. 5 is Penn State, who defeated UCLA on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tennessee fell from No. 4 to No. 9 after a loss to Arkansas, while LSU, Ole Miss, BYU, Notre Dame, and Boise State found themselves in Klatt’s “almost” column this go-around.
