After dealing with an ankle injury since Week 4 and missing last week’s game, former Wisconsin Badger Jonathan Taylor returned to practice Thursday for the Indianapolis Colts.

The star running back could play in the Colts’ Week 10 game against Las Vegas Sunday as practicing Thursday is a step in the right direction.

If Taylor isn’t able to play, backups Deon Jackson, Jordan Wilkins and Zack Moss will split time.

After having a breakout season where he recorded over 1,800 yards and 18 touchdowns, Taylor has had a slower start to the 2022 season, picking up 462 yards and a touchdown this year.

The Colts have had a tough start to the season, going 3-5-1 through their first 9 games. If Taylor is able to return to 100%, it could be very beneficial for the Colts.
