The interest originally stemmed from a Facebook post from Jones’ cousin that said he got a call that he was rushed to the hospital.
Eleven Warriors, which originally reported the news, was forwarded some information on his condition.

Jones is in the midst of a quarterback competition with J.T. Barrett as the opener approaches. Urban Meyer has repeatedly said that the starter will not be made public until the first series at Virginia Tech on Monday.
Whether or not Jones’ current condition will have any impact on that decision obviously remains to be seen.
