There’s something special about the way Jordan Bohannon performs in crunch time. And on Friday night, the Iowa star came up big again when it mattered most.

Bohannon finished the night with 17 points, connecting on five of his 11 three-point attempts to help No. 21 Iowa knock off Indiana 76-70 in overtime. But it was his effort at the end of the game that was most memorable.

With :20 left in the second half and Iowa trailing Indiana 63-60, Bohannon buried a three-point attempt to tie the game, sending it to overtime after the Hoosiers couldn’t connect on their final attempt.

Bohannon caught fire in overtime, knocking down three more shots from behind the arc, including some unbelievable attempts.

All of Bohannon’s 17 points came in the second half or overtime, with 14 coming in the final eight total minutes of the contest. He was one of three Hawkeyes to reach double figures.

Iowa was led by Tyler Cook, who finished the evening with 18 points and eight rebounds. Luke Garza added 16 points and nine rebounds in the win.

The Hawkeyes have won five of their last six games, with the only loss coming against No. 24 Maryland on a late-game tip-in. They improved to 10-6 in B1G play and sit in sixth in the conference standings, but are just one game out of the fourth spot.

The top four teams in the conference earn a double-bye in the B1G Tournament.

Overall, Iowa is 21-6 on the year. It will travel to Ohio State on Tuesday.
