Josh Uche kept his hot streak going on Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals. The New England Patriots ending up winning the game 27-13 to improve to 7-6.
Uche finished the evening with 3 sacks, 5 total tackles, and 3 tackles for loss. After Monday’s performance, Uche now has 10 sacks on the year.
Uche was taken in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Patriots out of Michigan. He has played in a total of 32 games for New England since then.
What is impressive about this run of form that Uche has been on is that those 10 sacks have come from his last five games. During that time Uche also has compiled 21 total tackles and 8 tackles for loss.
When Uche was asked what he learned about the Patriots’ defense after the game, he responded with “nothing.”
“Nothing. We’re gonna work hard until the whistle blows,” said Uche. “Until the whistle blows, until that clock hits zero, we’re giving it everything we’ve got. We’re playing for each other. It’s relentless.”
