Joshua Perry has been travelling all across B1G country for B1G Network, and recently stopped by the Indiana Hoosiers’ football practice and gave his 3 takeaways from the scrimmage.
For starters, Perry noted the competition at quarterback. The Hoosiers brought in Mizzou transfer Connor Bazelak and retains Jack Tuttle.
“He’s played in some big situations. He looked really good in the scrimmage,” Perry said of Tuttle.
Next, Perry praised the young defenders on Indiana’s roster, namely 4-star pass rusher Dasan McCullough. He noted he needs to add some weight, but that he has all the physical skills and abilities.

Finally, his 3rd takeaway focused on the culture building of Tom Allen’s program. Perry noted that the team has done more team building and that Allen made it an important focus in the offseason, something that will pay dividends moving forward.
