Per a Pennsylvania police report, Fleming was driving an ATV in Columbia Township in Bradford County when it hit a deer. A female passenger, Alyssa Boyd, was killed in the accident. Fleming was transported to the hospital with “suspected serious injury” according to the report. Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Mark Brennan of Lions247, Fleming has since been released from the hospital. That report also says Boyd was Fleming’s girlfriend, citing Penn State sources.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:13 p.m. local time on Friday evening. The report also says they were not wearing safety equipment.

Fleming played for Ohio State and Penn State during his collegiate career. He was with the Buckeyes from 2020-23 before spending the 2024 campaign with the Nittany Lions. He went undrafted during the 2025 NFL Draft earlier this spring. After initially agreeing to an undrafted free agent deal with the Green Bay Packers, Fleming parted ways with the franchise after failing his physical due to injuries.

Fleming is originally from Pennsylvania. He attended Southern Columbia High School in Catawissa, Penn., before enrolling at Ohio State.
