Jump for joy: PJ Fleck has incredible amped up response to win over Nebraska

Minnesota coach PJ Fleck was, understandably, fired up after his team beat Nebraska Saturday afternoon.

He certainly didn’t hide his feelings, giving a security guard a huge bear hug as he walked out to shake hands after the game. You have to love the energy. Check it out:

The Golden Gophers knocked off the Cornhuskers 23-16 despite not having their top two rushers — Mo Ibrahim and Trey Potts, who both suffered season-ending injuries. Quarterback Tanner Morgan turned in a solid performance, completing 20 of 24 passes for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Considering how close the game was, can you blame Fleck for being so pumped up? It also helps that Minnesota is now 4-2 overall and 2-1 in B1G play. That’s how you come out of a bye week.

Next up for Minnesota: a trip to Maryland next week to take on the Terps. Kickoff for that game is at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
