Ohio State’s football program is certainly known for what it does on the field.
It isn’t known for what its student-athletes do in the classroom. However, just because the Buckeyes play football doesn’t mean that they don’t go to school, or “play school” for that matter.

Quarterback Justin Fields is the latest Ohio State player in the spotlight. Fields came from Georgia via transfer over the offseason and was thrust into the role as QB1 for the Buckeyes. He’s handled himself with more than just grace on the field to this point.
But again, Fields embraces more than just dominating on the field. He is a true student-athlete and talked about what that means:

Some do believe that football players are football players. Nothing more. Fields understands that isn’t the case and other college football players likely understand the same.
