Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was knocked around quite a bit during the Buckeyes’ game last week against Penn State.
Despite that, Fields and the Buckeyes beat the Nittany Lions 28-17. Fields wasn’t at 100 percent by the end of that game and you could tell just by the way he was walking around.

Coming into this week against Michigan, Fields was fine. Coaches said as much. Fields wasn’t on the final status report for the game.
The way Fields looked during the Michigan game at the start was more than fine. He was playing great. At one point, though, he took a hard hit to his left knee.
After going to the medical tent, he eventually returned and performed beyond well to close out the Wolverines as Ohio State won the game 56-27.
After the win over Ohio State’s bitter rival, Fields gave a more in-depth update on his injured knee:
OSU QB Justin Fields said he sprained his MCL on the final play against Penn State last week and re-aggravated today. Had to switch to a bigger brace.

Well, there you go. Fields certainly wasn’t faking anything. He supposedly sprained his MCL against the Nittany Lions a week ago, played against Michigan and re-aggravated the injury.
In the end, though, Fields looked great. He came back to play and tossed a touchdown pass on his first play back.
The former Georgia QB is a warrior and Buckeye fans have got to be happy that he’s in Columbus now.
