Justin Fields is sticking it to his critics.
Tuesday, the Ohio State quarterback had the opportunity to prove the doubters wrong with an impressive showing during his pro day. That’s exactly what Fields did, making every throw on target, running a blazing 40-yard dash and just having outstanding all-around performance.
According to NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller, one scout said that Fields’ day was “the best QB workout I’ve seen in awhile.” Not too bad for a guy who has seemed to critiqued quite a bit lately.
Just had a scout text me from the Ohio State pro day.

Fields has been viewed as high as the No. 2 quarterback in the draft behind Trevor Lawrence from Clemson, and as low as a pick outside the Top 10. Even though he’s a lock as a first-round selection, anything below the No. 10 spot seems crazy for the former Buckeye gunslinger.
The NFL Draft is only a month away. It should be interesting to see if any evaluations on Fields change after his ridiculous pro day performance.
