Justin Fields scrambles, delivers perfect TD strike on the run for Chicago

Justin Fields is making real strides during 2022 with the Chicago Bears. While his work on the ground has drawn a lot of attention, it is starting to lead to big plays with his arm as well.

Late in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Fields scrambled out of the pocket but kept his eyes downfield. As the defense focused in on Fields, Byron Pringle wound up wide open down the sideline as the secondary lost contain.

The throw was perfectly placed to Pringle and went for a score from 35 yards out. It was Fields’ second touchdown of the day for the Bears.

Unfortunately, Fields’ late touchdown was not enough to bring Chicago all the way back with Philadelphia eventually running the clock out for a 25-20 win. Fields ended the game going 14-for-21 passing for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns and added 95 yards in the loss.
