Former Ohio State stars Justin Fields and Wyatt Davis will not be in Cleveland for the 2021 NFL Draft next weekend.

However, both former Buckeyes are amongst a group of 45 players who will attend the draft virtually, the NFL announced on Friday morning.

The list of 45 players also includes names like Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Minnesota Rashod Bateman, Penn State’s, Pat Freiermuth, Alabama’s Najee Harris, Purdue’s Rondale Moore and Oregon’s Penei Sewell.

Fields’ draft stock has been arguably the biggest mystery of this entire NFL draft cycle. He could be picked anywhere from No. 3 overall to outside the top 10. His landing spot will likely depend on who is willing to trade up for him, assuming the 49ers don’t take him at No. 3.

San Fransisco, Atlanta, Denver and New England are the likeliest landing spots for the talented quarterback with less than a week to go before the draft.

Davis is a potential first round pick, but he’s more likely to be a Day 2 pick.

The NFL draft is April 29-May 1.
